Maple syrup raisin pie


Prepare this delicious maple syrup raisin pie recipe. Our pure maple syrup is an excellent substitute for sugar in recipes!

Preparation and cooking time: 30 min



  • 125 ml (1/2 cup) water
  • 30 ml (2 Tbsp) cornstarch
  • 250 ml (1 cup) maple syrup
  • 250 ml (1 cup) raisins for pie
  • 1 piecrust



  1. In a saucepan, combine the water and the cornstarch.
  2. Mix in the syrup and the raisins. Bring to a boil and cook, stirring, until the mixture is thick and transparent, approximately 5 min. Let cool.
  3. Pour into the piecrust, decorate with strips of dough and bake in a very hot oven, at 220oC (425oF), for approximately 20 min or until the crust is nicely browned.
