Try this easy glazed maple syrup and goat cheese chicken breasts recipe, using our golden maple syrup, for a delicate taste!

Ingredients (4 servings)
- 60 ml (¼ cup) unsweetened apple juice
- 60 ml (¼ cup) maple syrup
- 250 ml (1 cup) chicken broth
- 60 ml (¼ cup) unsalted butter or margarine
- 4 half-breasts or 8 boneless chicken thighs
- 60 ml (¼ cup) 35% cream or 15% country-style creaml
- 250 g (9 oz) goat cheese
- To taste Fresh parsley, finely chopped
- 2 apples, thinly sliced
Instructions
- Pour juice, syrup and broth in a skillet. Add 30 ml (2 tbsp.) of butter.
- Bring to boil and add the pre-seasoned chicken breasts. Cover and bake over low heat for about 15 minutes.
- Remove and keep warm.
- Add cream to the cooking juice and reduce to syrupy consistency (sauce should just stick to the back of a spoon).
- Add the leftover butter and adjust seasoning (Hint: Always correct seasoning to bring out certain flavours when cooking is completed).
- Cut goat cheese into circles and coat with fresh, chopped parsley.
- Cut chicken breasts into thin strips. Alternate cheese circles and chicken.
- Place in the center of a plate and bake for a few minutes until cheese melts and spreads.
- Drizzle with a bead of sauce and arrange apple fans. Serve with an endive & hazelnut salad.
