A spicy, rich and creamy maple chai tea recipe. What could be more comforting in cold weather? Prepare it with our pure Quebec maple syrup!
Ingredients (makes 2 cups)
- 2 chai tea bags
- 250 ml (1 cup) boiling water
- 1 lime wedge
- Maple Sugar
- 180ml (3/4 cup) warm milk
- 60ml (1/4 cup) 10% coffee cream M.G.
- 5ml (1 teaspoon) of maple syrup
- 60ml (2oz) of liquor “Sortilege” (Canadian whiskey liquor with maple syrup)
- Whipped cream, to taste
Instructions
- Infuse the tea bags in hot water for 3 minutes (or according to the instructions recommended).
- Meanwhile, glazed the rims of two cups (slide the lime wedge on the rim of the glass and dip in maple sugar).
- Remove the tea bags and add the hot milk, cream, maple syrup and liqueur.
- Mix and pour into cups.
- Top with whipped cream and accompany the chai tea of chocolate cake.
