Prepare this maple chocolatines recipe. They are easy to prepare and delicious. Use our pure maple sugar to make them!
Ingredients
- Flaky pastry
- 1 Egg
- 3 tbsp of Milk
- 4oz of Dark chocolate
- 4 tbsp of pure maple sugar
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 200ºC (400ºF). Roll out the store-bought pastry.
- Beat 1 egg with 45 ml (3 tbsp) of milk and brush on pastry.
- Divide pastry into 4 squares, then spread 30 g (1 oz) of finely chopped dark chocolate and 15 ml (1 tbsp) maple sugar on each square.
- Fold diagonally and brush with the remaining egg wash. Place the chocolate pastries on a wax paper covered cookie sheet.
- Bake on top rack for 20 minutes.
