Bran and Maple Syrup Muffins

Ingredients

 

  1. 1 cup (115 g) all-purpose flour 
  2. 1/2 cup (125 mL) wheat bran 
  3. 1 tbsp (15 g) baking powder 
  4. 2 tbsp (30 g) sugar 
  5. 1/2 tsp (2 g) salt 
  6. 2 eggs, beaten 
  7. 4 tbsp (60 g) butter or margarine, melted 
  8. 4 tbsp (60 mL) maple syrup 
  9. 3/4 cup (190 mL) milk

Steps

 

  1. In a large bowl, combine the flour, wheat bran, baking powder, sugar and salt. Mix well.
  2. Add the beaten eggs, margarine or butter, maple syrup and milk.
  3. Blend with a fork until just mixed.
  4. Grease the muffin pan or paper muffin liners.
  5. Bake at 400 F (200 C) for 25 minutes.
